For me the women warrior in business, is someone who brings a feminine perspective to her work, stays true to herself, is assertive and willing to stand up for what she believes. Someone who is comfortable in her own skin, and not taking a more masculine approach to business. Both ways are totally valid, but different. I wouldn’t call myself a woman warrior, but I’d like to be. Take it for what it’s worth, since I kind of made it up.

It’s been an interesting year for women. With Ashley Judd coming forward to call out the media obsession with womens’ looks. Pixar making a movie with a female hero Brave Trailer. Not the first, for Disney, but a first for Pixar.

Everyday I hear of a new success story, with great sites like: http://www.women2.org/ introducing new women in upper management in traditional firms and start-ups. Women are still under represented in tech fields, but it is better. And because women make up the majority of casual gamers the trend of the titles reflect this.

As we get closer to the release of Glass Ceiling. I’m wondering how we fit in. As an ultimate woman’s revenge fantasy, it is suppose to be a fun and light0hearted. Our game might be polarizing, but the reaction either way will be interesting.

I think we (women) could agree the world is a better for a working woman, with the exclusion of countries where horrid injustices still exist, including not being able to recieve an education. We (the world) could do better.

But from when I was a child, and my job choices were nurse, teacher or secretary, do all the household work and childcare, it’s better.

Can’t wait to add our voice to the issue.
